Once you are a client, complete and sign the eligibility attestation online. Then email one accepted, redacted verification document for each eligible owner to client@carbyneaccounting.com.
Once eligibility is verified and approved, the 10% discount applies beginning with the first applicable invoice issued after approval.
Accepted proof: Depending on service status, we accept a DD-214, NGB Form 22, VA Veteran ID Card, VA service-verification or benefits letter, state ID with veteran designation, Statement of Service, redacted LES, current military orders, redacted DFAS Retiree Account Statement, military retirement orders, or Notice of Eligibility for Retired Pay (20-year letter). A screenshot or PDF of a digital VA Veteran ID Card is accepted. Surviving spouses submit one of these documents for the deceased service member, veteran, or military retiree.
DoD military identification: We do not accept military identification cards issued by the Department of Defense. Please do not email photographs or copies of those cards.
Before emailing verification documents, you must redact Social Security numbers, driver’s license and identification numbers, dates of birth, home addresses, financial amounts, military assignments or locations, medical information, and other sensitive information not necessary to establish eligibility. Your name, relevant dates, and information establishing qualifying service must remain visible.
You may request the Armed Forces Service Discount before becoming a client. Once you are a client, complete and sign the eligibility attestation online and email your redacted verification documents to client@carbyneaccounting.com.
If approved before your first invoice is issued, the discount applies to that invoice. Otherwise, it begins with the next invoice issued after approval.
Existing clients may request the discount at any time. Clients not on our current client terms must accept them first. If you are unsure whether you are on our current terms, contact Client Services at client@carbyneaccounting.com. Then complete and sign the eligibility attestation online and email your redacted verification documents to Client Services. Once approved, the discount applies to the next invoice issued.
Approved clients must report any change in service status, ownership, or management within 30 days and reverify eligibility at each renewal.
Email client@carbyneaccounting.com to request the discount. If you are new to our firm, verification begins once you become a client.
The discount applies only to service fees and is subject to our Armed Forces Service Discount Policy and the terms governing your services.
