WHAT WE DO

Bookkeeping services for your day-to-day
financial activity.

Our bookkeeping services generally include the following.

Supporting Documentation

Supporting documents (e.g., invoices and receipts) are collected, organized, and stored for each transaction. You may submit them directly, or, if we have access to the platform, we will retrieve them at no additional charge.

Transaction Categorization

Each transaction is categorized to either a balance sheet account or a profit and loss account based on the nature of the transaction. Items without supporting documentation or that require clarification are held in a clearing account until resolved.

Account Reconciliations

Accounts are reconciled to their source statements, including bank, credit card, merchant, loan, and vendor statements. Differences are identified and resolved.

Accounts Receivable

We maintain customer records and subledgers, prepare invoices, and record deposits, credits, and refunds. Customer payments are recorded, applied, and matched to bank deposits. We issue an aging report of outstanding balances and customer statements upon request. Past-due balances are flagged and reminders sent. Uncollectible balances are referred to you for final determination.

Accounts Payable

We maintain vendor records and subledgers, collect W-9s, and enter bills with supporting documents. Payments, credits, and refunds are recorded and applied. We issue an aging report of outstanding bills, track 1099-eligible payments, and issue contractor statements. Bills missing documentation or with discrepancies are referred to you for resolution.

Month-End Completion

Each month's bookkeeping is completed on a set schedule, subject to timely documents and responses. Once activity is recorded and accounts are reconciled, unresolved items remain in the clearing account and carry forward. The completed books are then ready to move forward to accounting and reporting.

WHO IT'S FOR

Bookkeeping for businesses that need their records kept current.

Every business benefits from having its records maintained each month. Whether you are starting a new business, growing an established one, or catching up on past records, bookkeeping keeps your financial information current and organized.

With your records maintained each month, you can see where your business stands, spend less time on administrative work, and avoid year-end cleanup. It also gives your tax preparer the information they need and provides a foundation for accounting services as your business grows.

THE OUTCOME

Bookkeeping answers your everyday business questions.

When your books are kept current, the answers to questions like these are in your records, not buried in a stack of receipts or bank statements.

Knowing these answers helps you make decisions with confidence, whether you are planning a purchase, following up on a late payment, or preparing for tax season. Instead of searching for information, you can find it in just a few clicks.

?How much cash do I have?
?Which customers still owe me?
?Which bills are coming due?
?Where is my money going?
?How did this month compare to last month?
?Where can I find the receipt for this expense?
HOW THE SERVICES CONNECT

Each service builds on the one before it.

Bookkeeping keeps your records current. Accounting turns them into monthly financial statements. Controller services oversee the entire process, maintaining the controls and procedures that keep it consistent as your business grows.
